Mission Statement

St. Matthew’s Lutheran School partners with families to provide students a quality, Christ-centered education while cultivating lives of service to the Lord in His harvest field.

Vision Statements

Implement the mission of St. Matthew’s by the faithful use of God’s Word.
Grow strong relationships with partnering congregations, home, students, community and the WELS.
Promote and celebrate the blessings of our school to our stakeholders and our neighboring communities.
Cultivate an attitude of Christian love among all personnel involved with the school (teachers, parents, students…)
Support the teachers by encouraging them to continue to grow professionally, spiritually, and providing them with the financial means to allow these things to happen.
Establish and continually improve curriculum to meet the educational and spiritual needs of today’s students
Teach all subjects in the light of God’s Word, giving students the skills they need to be knowledgeable students, successful workers and productive citizens
Research and provide when feasible the resources needed to meet every need of our students.
Maintain the facilities to provide students with a comfortable and conducive learning environment.

Building godly character and academic achievement from preschool to 8th grade.

Athletics

Developing athletes through practice and play as a team.

Arts

Teaching young musicians to play, sing, and perform to express themselves and praise God.

Hot Lunch Program

Feeding students with a Mon-Fri hot lunch program in partnership with our local public school district.

Preschool Program

Providing an excellent preschool education to ages
3 & 4 for full days and half days.

School Choice Program

A state aid payment program which allows families to attend our school without cost.
